Practice Nursing Services

Our Practice Nurse can provide a wide range of services and advice on many chronic conditions, health promotion and family planning.

Our Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) may be involved in many aspects of your care such as blood testing, blood pressure measurement, height and weight readings, and electrocardiograms (ECGs). Blood testing will not be carried out without a previous request from the GP. If you feel you may need blood tests, please make an appointment with one of our GPs to discuss this.

You can book an appointment directly with our nurse for:

  • Diet Advice
  • Alcohol Cessation Advice
  • Cardio Vascular & Heart Disease Prevention
  • Family Planning Advice
  • Asthma Clinic & Diabetic Clinic
  • Blood Pressure and Blood Clinics
