Welcome to Culloden Surgery
Please click here to get information on our COVID Vaccination Programme and here to get general information on Coronavirus (COVID-19)
******We are no longer issuing first doses of the COVID vaccine but are carrying on giving 2nd doses to those patients who have received their 1st dose at the surgery (or for new patients requiring a second dose, having received their first at a different practice). If you have not yet had your first dose and would like to, please click here for details of walk in clinics run by NHS Highland. As the name suggests, there is no appointment needed, just turn up wearing a face covering and preferably wearing loose clothing. You may have a short wait. These clinics are providing doses of Astra Zeneca and Pfizer to people over the age of 18. Dates are continually being added to this page so please consult this often for updates.*****
LEVEL 0 RESTRICTIONS COMMENCING 19 JULY 2021
The Scottish Government requires General Practice and other healthcare settings to have different infection control and physical distancing guidance to other places such as hospitality and shops. This is to help reduce the risk to Practice staff and to people attending the Practice who may be at greater risk if they catch Covid 19.
From 19 July 2021 (when we go to Level 0), the following rules still apply in General Practice:
- wearing of face coverings by patients and the public (unless you are exempt)
- physical distancing of 2 metres in waiting rooms
- contact your Practice by telephone in the first instance
- wearing of PPE by staff
- screening of all patients for Covid 19 symptoms
Please support your Practice team by complying with this guidance.
Culloden Surgery is a five partner GP training practice on the outskirts of Inverness, primarily serving the villages of Balloch, Culloden and Smithton. We have both male and female doctors and provide a comprehensive nursing service, with clinics held in a modern building which is situated in the centre of Culloden.
With patients' needs in mind, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.
Get Well, Keep Well
Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.
We hope you enjoy having a look around the site and familiarising yourself with some of the online features such as ordering a repeat prescription. Whatever your thoughts, be sure to let us know via our feedback function. Comments and suggestions are always a great way of helping us continue to enhance the way we look after you.
